Cash or Idea; Which Is More Important For an Entrepreneur?





The twenty first century educational system is now centered on molding business oriented men and women who will one day become the business moguls and control the resources of the country and planet at large. We have read from literature and have heard from testimonies how some people were able to start their business from the scratch and today, they are the owners and controllers of the market.

In all these happenings, what I find hard to decipher is the place of ideas and capital in starting up a business and also to be able to know which is more important. Capital and ideas are both needed but then, which is more important?

Before we go ahead to answer these questions I will suggest we take note of the following facts about ideas and capital. 

1.       Idea is what forms a business and capital is what makes it possible:
While it is good to have an idea, it is also good to have the capital to bring that idea to a realization. Capital is useless without an idea and so is idea without a capital. Are the two inseparable? Let me confuse you the more; A man with ideas can acquire cash and a man with cash can purchase an idea.

2.      Idea is priceless:
It doesn’t matter how much monetary value you place on your ideas, they are priceless. Ideas make the world what it is today and cash makes it function well. Of what use is an idea that cannot be actualized? Of what use is cash without an idea to be spent on?


3.      Ideas can be bought:
A rich man can purchase any idea on the face of the earth if he is willing but then does he have the needed ability to run it?

The world is looking for people who are full of ideas. A lot of people lack the needed the patience to wait for their ideas to make way for them, they just hawk it in the black market looking for the next available buyer. Money is good but then it is better to solve problems with an idea that will be accredited to you than to see the idea come to reality and regret it forever.

Ideas are great and the most important thing needed for a business to start up and even run. Everyone needs cash, but then only those who have the ability to sell these ideas to the world will make a mark.
