Christianity and match making

Over the week, there was a trending video on how a popular man of God called out some youths and merged them together. That very video was controversial as so many people used it as an opportunity to either question the authority Of the scriptures or the sanity Of The believers.

We now live in a world where unlike apostle Paul who said, You say, "I am allowed to do anything"--but not everything is good for you. You say, "I am allowed to do anything"--but not everything is beneficial. 1 Corinthians 10:30, we believe we have the right to do all things.

Authority is not equal to anointing and the two can never be the same. While the leaders Of The Pharisees lord it over them, Christian leaders ought not to do that.

Marriage is an institution ordained by God and it was in his plans to make Eve out Of the ribs of Adam and brough her to him. She was created when Adam was fast asleep and when he woke up from the God induced sleep he found her and said this is the bone of my bone...

Should Christian leaders be involved in match making?

I don't think so. Christian leaders are supposed to serve as a guide and not as rulers, they are supposed to speak the mind Of The Lord to the people and stand also a mediators. If the Lord has spoken to him about it then, it was a nice move, after all, God works in mysterious ways.

So was matching them a wrong thing? No

I have been around the church for a very long time now to see that most dedicated Christian brothers and sisters don't know how to express their feelings. The reason why a lot Of The good brothers are not married is because they are waiting for the will of the Lord which was already available but they are too spiritual to see.

The man of God in question only helped the shy brothers and sisters to be able to express themselves and let them know that their is nothing wrong in having a wife.
